Meet Dan
With 17 years of experience at the highest levels of commercial real estate, Dan has built a career on excellence, strategic insight, and a deep understanding of the marketplace. In recent years, he has discovered his true passion in the specialised field of medical and healthcare real estate. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the healthcare profession, health has always been important to Dan. In 2018 he found the perfect way to combine his expertise in real estate with his passion for improved healthcare outcomes and community wellbeing. Dan understands that healthcare real estate is not just about buildings; it’s about creating spaces that make a real difference in people's lives. What excites him most about this area is the unique blend of challenges and opportunities it presents—especially when it comes to investing in facilities that enhance care for individuals and communities. Dan believes that this specialised field demands a level of passion and dedication that goes beyond the ordinary.
For me, real estate has always been about more than just property—it’s about creating spaces that genuinely care for people. In healthcare real estate, I see every project as an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and the communities they belong to.
Dan commenced his real estate career with 10 years at Colliers International, where he was an Associate Director and one of the highest performing agents in the business. In 2018 he found the perfect way to combine his expertise in real estate with his passion for improved healthcare outcomes, when he pivoted his career into the healthcare industry by moving to Calvary Healthcare as the National Property and Leasing Manager. Dan held this position at Calvary for over 5 years before embarking on a new chapter working as Head of Leasing for Cornerstone Group, a private healthcare property development and construction business. Now, with Medi Real Estate, Dan is leveraging his extensive experience and deep industry insights to drive success in healthcare real estate, creating spaces that enhance both patient care and community wellbeing.
On a personal note, Dan is a devoted family man with three children and a wonderful, supportive wife. Family is at the heart of everything he does, and it fuels his commitment to creating spaces that will serve and uplift communities long into the future. When he’s not working, you can often find Dan staying active on the beach, enjoying quality time in nature with his family. Over the past 8 years Dan has volunteered as a prominent mental health and suicide prevention advocate with charities such as R U OK? Day and Movember. For Dan, running his business is more than just a career—it’s an investment in the future, where every project is designed to give back to the community and improve healthcare outcomes.
